David Spindler, DVM – Owner
- David and Nancy Spindler
I am a 1971 graduate of The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine and have been practicing in my hometown of Marietta, Ohio since my graduation.
My wife Nancy and I started accumulating our farm land in 1973 with a purchase of 90 acres to add to our home farm, totaling 140 acres. Since then, we added my father’s farm that had been in the Spindler family for over 100 years, as well as a portion of my parents’ farm to total approximately 350 acres.
In the 1990s, we started with a Hereford/dairy cross, then to Charolais, to Simmental, and most recently to Red Angus. We have gone from Leachman to Beckton, and for the last 15+ years, have been using Pharo Cattle Company genetics.
Pharo genetics have been the most useful in reducing my cow size and improving their efficiency.
We are not registered breeders, but concentrate on good functional commercial cattle and aim to follow the Pharo philosophies.
Our goal is to produce efficient cattle that will marble and finish on grass.
